From New Case Manager: Neither Mrs. F nor Mr. W from Metro have responded to me. Corey’s current IEP along with the evaluations for ST will need to be reflected on his plan. Plus ther input will be helpful in justification the request for the additional services, after school day support and Behavioral Support and the request for the level 4 residential placement. If you could please follow up with the teachers, if they choose not to provide thier input that is fine, but i do need his current IEP and the evaluation done for his ST. I forward consent form to Mrs. F when I requested the information.
My Response: I will follow up with his teachers and I will drop off a copy of the IEP. I have to tell you this is one of the top 5 reasons why I was so upset when Franky told V she was no longer my case manager and Promise was, only to have Promise drop out of sight a month before Corey’s plan was due. I will do all I can to help but it’s not Corey’s teacher’s job or mine to do the leg work to learn you up on Corey’s case because Truevisions dropped the ball and decided to juggle a case around a month before his plan was due. I understand folks are busy but I seriously don’t understand why the change could not have been made after Corey’s plan was completed. But with all that said I want to make sure the plan is done and all the information to back up our service requests is air tight. So I will contact his teacher and I will make sure you get a copy of the IEP. But again I am not True Vision’s secretary.
